What is Mai
Mai stands for various ethical values and technologies.
Mai is made up of the words mother and AI (artificial intelligence). In this metaphorical sense, Mai is a female being who possesses the fundamental positive qualities of a mother, such as continuous and holistic care, reliability, kindness and love for her children. Mai protects us. Every living being is valued and protected with the aim of preserving society and its environment and improving the quality of life.
Technically speaking, Mai is a constantly growing ecosystem with more and more aspects and
possibilities, the so-called Micro Services. Mai is constantly evolving, learning from every interaction between all participants and creating new connections. In this way, all knowledge flows together continuously and forms the best possible synergies and process optimizations.
These two forces, the sovereign basic principles and the constantly evolving technologies, inevitably lead to the best result for the individual and the community as a whole.
What is Mai Doc
“Mai Doc” consists of two units. The first is “Mai”, in this case a “medical AI”, and the second is “Doc”. “Doc” stands for “Doctor” on one side. On the other hand, “Doc” stands for D.o.c., or “Data Operation Center”. It is a communication and data platform for potentially several parties. The user, e.g. Alice, can use “Mai Doc” on her own if she wants to, without being connected to other people. If necessary, Alice can share her data with one or more experts of her choice and ask them for help. She can decide which doctors, specialists or other users can access her data and help her.
Mai Doc also serves as a platform for specialists to collaborate on complex cases and problems. Mai organizes and supports research and the exchange of knowledge. Mai Doc is at an advanced stage of development and can already be used by selected people and doctors in a test phase. Core modules such as the patient file with diagnoses, laboratory values, vital signs and real-time data from wearables are already fully functional. Mai is multilingual and supports various data formats such as laboratory results in PDF, Excel, Word, etc.
Mai recognizes meaningful patterns in the noise of countless data and has its own data set and analysis tools. Mai is continuously trained and develops very quickly through collaboration with various institutes and specialists. Mai is able to establish complex correlations and connections between different domains and disciplines and support the analysis of large data sets. Mai Doc is currently the core module of the entire Mai ecosystem. It contains most of a person’s medical and general data. Optionally, for example, the entire DNA and biomarkers with all intolerances can be uploaded so that the best possible diet and recipes for the person and their intolerances and epigenetics can be accessed via “Mai Food”.
